Job description
Are you looking for work in education? Are you creative and confident?
We are looking for teaching assistants to work in Secondary schools across the South East London boroughs. If you have experience working with Secondary aged students or would like to gain valuable classroom experience prior to teacher training then this is the perfect way for you to work on a paid basis whilst gaining invaluable skills.

Your duties as a Teaching assistant will include:

•Supporting students in groups or 1:1 with their set work
•Helping prepare class work and materials before lessons
•Monitoring students behaviour and helping them to stay focused
•Liaise with staff and parents about student progress
•Helping tidy the classroom at the end of the school day

The Successful candidate will:

•Previous experience in an educational setting is desirable
•A passion and drive to work in education
•Hold or be able to apply for a DBS that is on the update service
•Knowledge of Key stage 3 and Key stage 4 subjects
•Be confident, willing to learn and able to take initiative
