Protocol Education is working in partnership with a number of welcoming mainstream primary schools across Lambeth and is looking to recruit dedicated Teaching Assistants for both daily supply and long-term assignments.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support pupils both inside and outside the classroom. Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Working with individual pupils and small groups
• Assisting children with additional learning needs where required
• Helping to maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
• Encouraging pupils' confidence, independence and engagement

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have experience working with children in a school, nursery or childcare setting
• Be enthusiastic, caring and approachable
• Be able to work effectively as part of a team
• Have strong communication and organisational skills
• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
