Teaching Assistants - Daily Supply & Long-Term

Protocol Education is recruiting enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants to work in a range of friendly and supportive mainstream primary schools across Lambeth.

We have both daily supply and long-term positions available, making this the perfect opportunity whether you're looking for flexible work or a consistent role for the academic year.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils and teachers, helping to create a positive learning environment where children can thrive.

Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2
• Providing one-to-one support for pupils with additional learning needs
• Delivering small group interventions in literacy and numeracy
• Assisting with classroom management and lesson preparation
• Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence and independence

We Are Looking For

Successful candidates will:

• Have experience working with children in a school, nursery or childcare setting
• Be confident, proactive and adaptable
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Be committed to supporting children's educational progress and wellbeing
• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
