Job description
Are you looking for work in education? Are you creative and confident?

We are looking for teaching assistants to work in schools across the Bromley and Bexley boroughs. If you have experience working with children or would like to gain valuable classroom experience prior to teacher training then this is the perfect way for you to work on a paid basis whilst gaining invaluable skills.

Your duties as a Teaching assistant will include:

• Supporting students in groups or 1:1 with their set work

• Helping prepare class work and materials before lessons

• Monitoring students behaviour and helping them to stay focused

• Liaise with staff and parents about student progress

• Helping tidy the classroom at the end of the school day

Protocol Education works closely with primary and secondary schools across the Bromley and Bexley boroughs and offer competitive rates of pay. Do you have experience with special needs? We work with several SEN schools as well as mainstream schools who require 1:1 support for special needs students. Successful applicants will be well organised, positive, be able to remain calm under pressure and

be able to manage high expectations of students achievements, helping them to reach their full potential.

If you think you have the right skills and experience for this role then please email your CV to DWarwick@protocol-education.com at your earliest convenience and we look forward to meeting you.

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
