Job description
Teaching Assistance with PMLD Experience Required Nottingham & Nottinghamshire

Protocol Education are currently working with a number of SEND school in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire who are looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistants to provide regular cover. You will be working across all Key Stages supporting children with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities.

Most of the children you will be working with have very limited communication skills and some are non-verbal. You will be assisting more than one class so supporting several children rather than 1:1 with any particular child.

You must have experience working with children with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities. You will be available to start ASAP and be able to work full school hours 5 days per week. You must have a good command of numeracy and literacy. Those with experience using PECS and Makaton are urged to apply.


• PMLD: 1 year
• Teaching Assistant: 1 year
• SEN: 1 year
• PECS (any experience desirable)
• Makaton (any experience desirable)
