Job description
Flexible work available within Primary Schools in West London - Ealing and Hillingdon.

If you are an experienced Teaching Assistant, looking for work that fits into your lifestyle, then please read on.

As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will be given daily and short term (1-6 weeks) work assignments. You must be able to adapt to each different School, able to support across Early Years, Key Stages 1 and 2 and above all, able to quickly build rapport with students in the Schools that you work in.

Day to day, you will be tasked with the responsibilities of a permanent Teaching Assistant. As you will often be covering someone else, you must work with the Class Teacher to pick up the duties and routines of the person you are covering. You will hear readers, differentiate work for SEN pupils, manage behaviour, mark books, supervise play etc.

This type of work suits a person with an enthusiastic outlook on life, someone who is able to engage students from the get go and not afraid to get stuck in, for example attending trips, swimming lessons without prior warning!

The work can be as much or as little as you want! - Suitable for people seeking part-time work and also those who cannot commit to a full academic year in a School.

Other benefits include the competitive rate of pay and the opportunity to gain experience in all different School settings.

Please apply with your CV if you would like to join our team of excellent Casual TA's working in and around West London. **Ealing and Hillingdon**

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
