Job description
Prestigious SEN School in Hillingdon seeking experienced Teaching Assistant!

This smaller than average, award winning, special needs school caters to pupils with moderate and complex learning difficulties, including: autistic spectrum disorders; behaviour, emotional and social difficulties; and speech, language and communication disabilities.

They are now seeking an experienced special needs teaching assistant to join their highly acclaimed team, working full time with students across Early Years, Key Stages 1 and Key Stage 2.

With high expectations, this school are proud to be able to state confidently that the behaviour of their pupils is outstanding. An approach rooted in principles of fairness and equality means that pupils’ learning is never disturbed or disrupted by others, and poor behaviour which is detrimental in any way to the learning and well-being of others is not tolerated. A joy to work with, the pupils at this school are expected to be smart, polite and prepared to learn and support others, and the school recognise the contribution of their excellent teaching and support staff in helping pupils to achieve this.

Pupils make use of excellent facilities like a sensory room, swimming pool and garden. Staff work hard to deliver a tailored curriculum to improve students academic and social development. Progress is monitored closely and parents and carers are heavily involved in students consistent education and behaviour plans.

If you have experience of supporting students or adults with Special Needs and are ready for a new challenge in a supportive and innovative environment then please apply below today!
