An Ofsted rated Good' school based in Redhill, Surrey, is currently looking to recruit an experienced learning support assistant, to work full time, on a long-term basis.

The school is a specialist special needs school for young girls who have emotional difficulties, attachment difficulties and challenging behaviour, as well as learning difficulties.

They are looking for somebody who is patient, resilient, motivated, and somebody who is extremely passionate about working in special needs. Due to the nature of the children, a reliable individual is needed, as the girls are likely to build an attachment and they will require the continuous 1:1 support and consistency.

The role will involve you working in a classroom setting, from Monday to Friday, during school hours, on either a small group or 1:1 basis with the young girls. You will be assisting them with their day to day tasks, activities and challenges.

The ideal candidate will have:
-An enhanced DBS disclosure on the Update Service.
-Previous experience of working in a child-based field.
-A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
