Job description
Are you a graduate looking for a teaching assistant role?

I am searching for graduates of any subject who are looking to gain more experience working with children as a learning support assistant or teaching assistant in a school. Perhaps you would like to become a teacher in the future but need more school experience to apply for a PGCE course?

We work with primary, secondary and special needs schools in the Berkshire area to find them suitable teaching assistants. It is often an excellent way to get your foot in the door at a school without having to have the level of experience sometimes required for a permanent job. The roles range from day to day to long term and even permanent roles.

To be successful in your application you must have some experience working with children in a classroom or non classroom environment (voluntary work is accepted as long as a valid reference can be provided) and be a proactive and personable team player. A confident, energetic and helpful personality is often far more important than years of experience.

If you are interested in this role please contact me asap with your CV.

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
