Teaching Assistant - SEND Schools

We're looking for motivated Teaching Assistants to join specialist schools across Sunderland this September.

This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, physical disabilities and complex learning needs within welcoming and supportive school environments.

What you'll be doing:

• Supporting learning both inside and outside the classroom.
• Working 1:1 with pupils who require additional support.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement.
• Supporting pupils with their emotional wellbeing.
• Working as part of a dedicated school team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
