Protocol Education is recruiting TAs and SEN TAs to support pupils across a wide range of primary, secondary and specialist SEND settings.

The Role

Depending on the setting, you may:

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils.

• Support teachers with classroom learning and activities.

• Assist pupils with literacy, numeracy and curriculum-based tasks.

• Support pupils with SEN/SEND, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and additional needs.

• Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation and social development.

• Encourage pupils' confidence, independence and engagement.

• Prepare and organise classroom resources.

• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and other support staff.

• Help create a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, SEN TA, LSA or similar is desirable.

• SEN/SEND experience is highly desirable for SEN TA opportunities.

• Experience providing 1:1 or small-group support is advantageous.

• Patient, caring and adaptable approach.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Reliable and professional.

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
