Protocol Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants (TA) and SEN Teaching Assistants (SEN TA) to work across Primary, Secondary, and Specialist SEN schools throughout Bristol.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils.
• Supporting classroom teachers with engaging learning activities.
• Working with children with SEND, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and complex learning needs.
• Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence, and independence.
• Supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom.
• Creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have at least 6 months' experience working with children or young people in education, childcare, or a support setting.
• Have experience as a Teaching Assistant, SEN Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Support Worker, Mental Health Support Worker, Youth Worker, or in a similar role.
• Are passionate about supporting children's learning and development.
• Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Are patient, caring, reliable, and adaptable.
• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or are willing to apply for one.
