Protocol are looking for SEN specialists who can bring their experience to an AMAZING school in the Stockton On Tees area. You will be working alongside children based in KS1 although assistance through out the school and classes may be needed at times. 

You will be responsible for working as part of the support team in class under the direction of the class teacher assisting in both 1-1 and group work with students with a range of SEN needs from ASD, Attachement , SEMH and Dyslexia. It is essential that you have worked within a SEN environment to be considered for this role.

The Headteacher and SLT have worked tirelessly with the teaching and support staff to create an ethos which put simply is to develop within a state of the art building, an innovative and visionary inclusive approach working with a huge continuum of need, pupils live together in an inspirational learning environment, where every one of those needs is met.

Duties & Responsibilities:

-Engaging with SEN pupils and helping them develop their skills.
-Planning and preparing engaging and interactive lessons.
-Reporting and evaluation individual student progression.
-Working alongside a wide range of SEN professionals, carers and social workers frequently.
-Strong team player with relevant experience of working in a childcare/support working setting.
-Ability to work both individually as well as part of a team.
-Be able to provide a valid DBS or on the update system.
