Are you an individual with a passion for supporting pupils, particularly with special educational needs?

Protocol Education is currently working with a school in Ashford. This SEMH School is focused on providing support and care for their pupils. The school aims to meet the needs of secondary aged (11-16) boys and girls who have difficulty managing social interactions, positive relationships and recognizing and regulating their emotions.

Working in a SEMH school can be challenging. We need the right person with the right attitude and work ethos.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is very understanding with challenging behaviour. Experience in a school environment is desirable but work experience that can be adapted is accepted.

This role includes:

  • Supporting the teaching and learning of SEMH pupils
  • Working closely with pupils that display challenging behaviour and emotional difficulties.
  • Working in classrooms supporting Teachers and fellow Teaching Assistants
  • Full time is preferred but part time applicants may still apply, as job shares can be available.
  • Hours 8:30am-3:30pm

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
