Teaching Assistants needed for secondary mainstream schools in Redcar and Cleveland with students with SEMH and attachment difficulties.

Do you enjoy supporting children and helping them develop in their education?
Are you an experienced teaching assistant or have experience working with primary aged students with SEMH?
Are you experienced supporting children with Maths and English?

We are looking for Teaching Assistants who have experience supporting children with their Maths and English and those that find it challenging to engage. Many students are finding it difficult to engage due to Social Emotional and Mental Health, trauma and toxic stress.
You would be working alongside the Local Authorities in primary mainstream schools with their Children Looked After to support in raising attainment and building resilience.

Level 2 or 3 qualified and/or a minimum of 6 months experience in an educational establishment
A calm, patient and caring persona
Good communication skills
Experience supporting students with their Maths and English
Experience in supporting students in their education on a 1:1 and small group basis
