Job description
Primary Teaching Assistant's needed across Wakefield

Protocol Education is looking to appoint specialist teaching support to work on a supply basis, both day to day and long term across Wakefield. We are looking to appoint a caring and enthusiastic TA with excellent interpersonal skills to support children with a range of needs.

The successful Teaching Assistant's will have a warm, friendly disposition with patience and skill to work in this challenging environment. Protocol Education is looking for an exceptional candidates for this role and offers a great opportunity to become part of our team and our commitment and dedication to our schools.

It would be an advantage to have experience of working with children who display challenging behaviours. This individual must have a drive to attain the best of their children's abilities by implementing strategies to engage children in work and wanting to learn.

The person must be able to handle challenging behaviour in a calm and structured manner and embed a rigorous timetable to enlighten children's enjoyment in their education and progress their attainment in this vital learning period. The school will provide support and a detailed understanding of the children as well as appropriate resources to implement your plans to ensure learning is engaging and structured.

As a teaching assistant with Protocol Education you will benefit from weekly pay, attractive daily pay rates and ongoing CPD. Supply is a great way to build up experience in a range of schools, which can lead to a long term position or permanent.

Working with Protocol Education you can expect:

You need to:
•Be a hard-working, outstanding role model
•Have experience in a classroom or nursery environment
•Be able to work with children of all ages from 5+ years
•Be able to inspire and motivate pupils and parents
•Have high expectations for learning attitudes and behaviour
•Be creative and enthusiastic
•Have a structured and routine approach to day to day activities
•Eligible to work in the UK or a UK resident
•Must have a valid DBS or prepared to undertake one through Protocol Education
•You must also provide two references
