September Teaching Assistant Opportunity
A special needs school based in the Richmond/Twickenham area are looking for reliable and talented teaching assistants to join there brand new site in Septemeber. The school are looking for new staff to come in and establish themselfes in the new term as their aim is to build a team of core members of staff in September, the school are offering opportunities for progression and development throughout the year. The school strives to meet the diverse and individual needs of its pupils who have special education needs and disabilities. Students with special needs travel from all over London to attend this school as it is one of the biggest in London which provide education for those with autism and complex needs. This is a large school for students aged between 4 19; due to this the school like to encourage independence and life skills within the learning.
It is fundamental that any candidate considering this position has prior experience working with students with special educational needs. You will need to demonstrate an enthusiastic and caring attitude to work as you will be required to work in small groups or 1-1 with students.
