Job description
Protocol Education are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to work with students that have Special Educational Needs. The role is based in Swindon and involves providing 1-1, group or in-class support to the pupils who have a diagnosis of ASD or are currently on the pathway for assessment.

You should be kind, patient and adept at establishing positive relationships with individual students and those identified as requiring 1-1 support. You should be a skilled communicator and be able to provide regular updates to your line manager regarding specific students, or groups of students.

Previous experience in a teaching assistant role is essential, with experience in managing young people across the ASD spectrum would be desirable.
