Job description

We require teaching assistants in mainstream and special needs schools throughout the area. Successful applicants for this role will have the following skills:

• Be available for work at least 3 days per week
• Have an upbeat and professional approach to teaching
• Have knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
• Have an organised and structured work ethic
• Be able to maintain a calm and positive composure

Your duties throughout the school day will include, but are not limited to:

• Supporting students in groups or 1:1 with their set work
• Helping prepare class work and materials before lessons
• Monitoring students behaviour and helping them to stay focused
• Liaise with staff and parents about student progress
• Helping tidy the classroom at the end of the school day
