Protocol Education are currently recruiting teaching assistants to work in an outstanding special needs college located in Wandsworth. A sa teaching assistant you will be working with post 16 students with a range of special needs that include; autism, speech & language difficulties, anxiety, physical disabilities. As part of the role, you will be supporting students on a one to one basis developing academic skills, social independence, assisting within work placements and taking part in outdoor/recreational activities. You'll be required to use a patient, calm and engaging approach to learners, their learning needs and be able to work creatively & pro-actively.

• Has special needs experience or has a keen interest to work within special needs
• Resilience and patience, compassion and understanding.
• An ability to be proactive, creative and empathetic.
• To adhere to the school's policies and practices.
