We’re looking for caring, reliable Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Shropshire on a full-time basis with immediate starts available.

Whether you’ve worked in schools for years or you’re bringing brilliant transferable experience from care, youth work, coaching, or support roles, we’d love to hear from you.

These schools are looking for someone who can bring positive energy, patience, and a calm presence into the classroom every single day.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Working alongside class teachers to keep learning engaging and accessible
• Providing 1:1 and small group support where needed
• Helping children build confidence, routines, and independence
• Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEND
• Being a friendly face in the classroom, because that really matters

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with children or young people
• Is patient, proactive, and happy to get stuck in
• Can build positive relationships quickly
• Works well as part of a team
• Ideally drives and has access to a vehicle due to school locations across Shropshire
• Has a genuine passion for supporting children in education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
