Job description
Teaching Assistants required in Kingston

Protocol Education is seeking committed, reliable, passionate teaching assistants near Kingston to work in an all through special needs school from the start of the academic year. The school are offering a one-year placement until July 2019 to which they will give the option to extend the placement further depending on performance.

The school have opened two brand new classrooms for primary aged students with ASD, with the increase in student numbers the school are looking to bring in new teaching assistants to work along side the class teacher and become key members of the class set up.

Prior experience working with students with special educational needs is desirable however it is not essential as the school pride themselves on having good training and development programmes. You will need to demonstrate an enthusiastic and caring attitude to work as you will be required to work in small groups or 1-1 with students.

The school are looking for individuals that are:

• Experienced working with children with ASD and complex needs
