Job description
Are you a Teaching Assistant looking for full-time or part-time work in South Tyneside? Do you have previous experience within KS1/KS2 and are looking to expand your skills? Then we have the job for you! Please read and apply below about our Teaching Assistant roles in South Tyneside.

In partnership with local schools, we are looking to hire Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistants to join our proactive, supportive and fun team. The successful applicants will be working with children aged between 0 and 11 years.

Responsibilities of the role:
• Providing high quality childcare and support
• Safeguarding children daily
• Building strong relationships with the teachers and staff
• Supporting the teacher in delivery of the lesson

Requirements for candidate:
• You must have an NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent
• Understanding of safeguarding
• Knowledge of EYFS and/or National Curriculum
• Ability to communicate effectively with the team and parents/carers
• Have a DBS on the online update service or the willingness to complete a new DBS check
