Job description
Protocol Education are seeking an experienced KS1 Teaching Assistant to work in a successful and dynamic private school based in the borough of Wandsworth. The school has 600 children aged 3-13. They have high expectations of both children and staff. They are committed to education in the fullest sense; their curricular and extra-curricular provision, combined with a vibrant House system, strong pastoral care and outstanding facilities, ensure that each one of their pupils benefits from a first-class, 21st-century British education.

They are looking to appoint an experienced and qualified Teaching Assistant (preferably educated to degree level) to assist in Key Stage 1. The successful candidate whilst working under the supervision of a qualified teacher must be able to work independently and be capable of working with small groups of children in order to be able to support their learning and assess their progress and development. Applicants must have strong written and oral communication skills; a strong work ethic; the ability to work as part of a cohesive team combined with good organisational skills and the ability to form and maintain positive suitable relationships with children.
This is a permanent appointment on a salary range £16,953-£20,612 (actual pro rated salary) depending on qualifications and experience. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.15.am-4.45pm term time only (35 weeks per year). Other benefits include contributory staff pension scheme, staff gym,free, school meals and free car parking.
