Job title: Teaching Assistants for KS1 AND KS2

(Full time and part time roles available 8:30-4pm)

Protocol Education are currently working with a school based in Redbridge. They are currently seeking to place Teaching Assistants in roles in KS1 and KS2 in some of the best primary schools in Redbridge. There are full time and long-term roles with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

What you will need to succeed…

The school is searching for confident, adaptable and enthusiastic individuals with an interest in the education sector. Perhaps you’re an aspiring teacher, a recent graduate or an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for the perfect role to immerse yourself in: the successful candidate will have opportunities and challenges to develop their practice.

  • Level 2 or 3 qualification is ideal but not essential
  • Relevant experience supporting children including youth workers, support workers or tutors will be taken into consideration
  • Working knowledge of inclusion and SEND

 

Your responsibilities:
As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include supervising activities in the classroom and supporting pupils who need learning support. You will also be required to assist the teacher with administrative duties such as photocopying and marking.

Additionally, you may be required to support pupils outside the classroom in 1:1s or focus group.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
