Teaching assistant / Learning Support jobs in Bromley

VISUAL IMPAIRMENT SUPPORT - TRAINING OFFERED

Are you ready to start a job that is rewarding and career enhancing?

We are working with a charity/ Key stage 3/4 school setting for visually impaired students based in the Bromley area. They are looking for Learning Assistants who are passionate about improving the lives of young people with visual impairments. Commitment and an eagerness to work within the education sector is desirable however, training is offered to long term candidates.

Training offered-
  • PREVENT TRAINING
  • SAFEGUARDING
  • BRIEF GUIDED TRAINING

The role is flexible weekly and flexible working hours - The role is primarily to work on a one-to-one basis however, small group work may be part of responsibilities occasionally.


We will need the following when registering / to complete registration;

  • Right to work
  • Proof of address
  • DBS - IF you have an existing DBS that is registered on the update service this would speed things up however, we are able to process one for you
  • References - We must be able to cover at least 2 years of employment history / character reference
  • Any other relevant certificates / qualifications e.g. Safeguarding or first aid etc
