Protocol are working closly with a mainstream school in Lewes area. They are looking to appoint a Individual Needs Assistant for a studnet with behavioral needs. You will be working on a 1:1 basis as well as in the main classesroom.
This role is suitalbe for someone who has experience working with children in a 1:1 setting as well as understanding different needs and trigger that could cause a studnet to struggle in a mainstream setting. The school is well-liked by teachers and students alike and many describe working at the school as fun and stimulating, where you really feel valued.

Times: 8:30 till 3:30 pm
Pay: £70-85 (depending on experience)
Days: Monday to Friday - applicatant needs to be able to work the whole week.

Additional skills in working with ASC/Behavioural needs is not essential. However, if you have experience with ASC and PMLD students or have training in PEC’s, Team Teach, Makaton, ABA, Hoist, Manuel handling, Personal Care, this will aid you in your placement at the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
