We are looking for an enthusiastic teaching assistant who is interested in working with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. This is for a temporary position in a KS2 class in Kent and you will be working with all of the wonderful students with special needs including Autism, Profound multiple learning difficulties and physical disabilities including visual and hearing impairment. This job will not only progress your knowledge and experience...you can make a difference!

During this process you will be engaging with the students to understand their needs and developing your own teaching strategies to aid their educational and personal development. This special school has an outstanding reputation with plenty of energy and fun. They believe that each student is entitled to reach their full potential and believe in making this possible for them. This is a rewarding job as you will be monitoring attainment and challenges on a weekly basis with the classroom Teacher and developing ways to improve on this.
You must be excited to learn, you must be forward thinking and able to adapt to situations with a 'can do' attitude.

As you will be moving into this SEND role, it is vital that you have brilliant in-class experience. Previously working with students with SEND will be advantageous but not essential. Every day is exciting and different and you will learn along the way.

If you want to move into this exciting position, then please contact me!
