If you are interested in making a real difference everyday and want to help give equal opportunities to all and set students up to take on the real world', then keep reading!

We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals who stand out above the rest and demonstrate a passion to make a difference. Our client schools are constantly a hunt for talented individuals who could assist students with the right skills to interact within the community, offer them guidance on their academic development and independence. We are seeking people who can easily build strong relationships with the students and fellow members of staff, look outside the box and take own initiative when needed. You should also be highly professional in every aspect, be self-motivated and able to work with the minimum of supervision.

The roles (both on a day-to-day and long term basis) involve supporting children in small groups and on a 1-2-1 basis. These children will usually be diagnosed with mild to severe ASD, ADHD or Global Development Delay. You'd be required to assist them with everyday activities, run daily journals, write regular reports and liaise with the class teacher, SENCO and parents.

Essential requirements:
- An undergraduate degree (at least 2:2)
- A minimum of 6 months in a classroom environment in the UK
- Good knowledge of EYFS/KS1/KS2 British National Curriculum
- Experience working with children with SEN, particularly ASD, ADHD and/or GDD
- The ability to adapt and prepare resources to suit the needs of the child
- Strong behaviour management
- A UK DBS on the Update Service or willing to undertake one
- 2 excellent references

Though not compulsory, training in Team Teach would be a massive bonus!

In return we offer you:
• Competitive rates of (weekly) pay
• Professional support from our team of experienced consultants
• Social nights out with the rest of Protocol staff
• A wide variety of positions, both day to day and long-term
• £250 Referral Bonus for each teacher you refer to us.*

*they must work for at least 20 days for Protocol in order to claim the Bonus.

If you feel this description matches your personality and experience, please contact Joseph on 0208 371 7915 or apply online at www.protocol-education.com.

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
