Job description
Teaching Assistant (with MDS)

Are you a TA aspiring to be a HLTA? Protocol Education could have the perfect role School for you

We are also keen to hear from graduates who may be considering a career in education and are looking for a supportive environment in which to gain valuable experience and to progress from.

In addition to the TA role the successful candidate will be requried to take on the additional role of Midday Supervisor for 30 minutes each day.

The School in question is a good school who aspire to be outstanding. They have a supportive and enthuisatic team of school leaders, teaching staff, support staff and Governors who together, are committed to achieving this aspirational goal and to continue in the drive to raise standards.

The successful applicant will be sensitive to children's varying needs, but be able to work under the guidance of the teaching team, SENCo and Leadership Team.

The post will involve working to support the class teacher, supporting children 1:1 and working with small groups to support learning.

The successful candidate will:

-Have relevant qualifications in childcare and learning

-Have experience of supporting individuals and small groups of children in achieving the lesson objectives

-Be able to liaise with the class teacher, providing feedback and keeping reords of progress and behaviour

-Support the social, emotional, behavioural and medical needs of pupils

-Communicate with parents

-Prepare resources and undertake administrative tasks

-Display children's work creatively
