Teaching Assistant

 

Protocol Education are currently recruiting a KS2 specialist Teaching Assistant for one of our Partnership schools based in Leeds (LS8).  This would involve supporting the whole class and delivering interventions for small groups of pupils.

 

Job Description: 

 

Provide care and support for children within the class. You will be required to support pupils in many ways including their  social, emotional and educational development. You will need to nurture and guide pupils. You will help promote each individual child’s development through planning, observations and record keeping that inform parents and carers about their child’s progress. 

 

Requirements: 

  • Recent school based experience, ideally specialising within Key Stage Two. 
  • Relevant childcare qualifications. 
  • Enhanced DBS Check registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
  • x2 professional references
  • Relevant ID documentation

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
