Are you a bi-lingual teaching assistant who has a real passion for helping students?

Have you had experience helping students who English is their second language?

I am currently working with a progressive school in Enfield, North London who require a dedicated Teaching assistant to help the EAL students within the school.

The school is based in the heart of the culturally diverse borough and students at the school speak a range of languages.

You will work with students across the school; therefore, a flexible attitude is pivotal for this position.

Your focus will be supporting the students in accessing the British curriculum. You should be a confident communicator who can easily interpret work and present this to students in a clear and concise manner.

Starting in a new school can be a daunting time for any student, especially if you are unable to fluently speak English. Your role will also include supporting students socially to ensure they interact socially with their peers to make their experience of school as enjoyable as possible.

The ideal candidate will have the following;

• Experience supporting students with EAL in a Primary School
• A Teaching Assistant Qualification
• Exceptional communication skills
• Fluent in either Polish, Urdu, Turkish or Romanian.
• Willing to undertake further training
