This therapeutic school is looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant (TA) for day to day, part time and full-time roles with immediate effect. The school is looking for an enthusiastic candidate who is proactive, well-organised, flexible, empathetic and a team player to join their support staff team.The successful candidate will understand the importance of a person-centred approach and ensure the students’ learning is a positive experience.
Set in the beautiful Leicestershire Countryside area, supporting students aged between 8 and 18 years with a variety of needs including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH).
If you do not have experience with supporting students with special needs and would like to gain experience in this field, please feel free to apply as training can be provided.
The school promotes independency, self-esteem, and confidence throughout the learning of their students, to support them on their journey into adulthood.
Applicants must be willing to undergo necessary training.
About the Role:
Full Time and part time work available
8.30am - 4.00pm
£70 - £80 per day
Previous SEN experience - highly desirable
Willingness to train and complete courses relating to SEN
Proactive and well-organised
Driver with access to car
Manual Handling/Team Teach/NAPPI training - highly desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
