We are looking for reliable, patient and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants who can support pupils with their learning, development and wellbeing.

The Role

• Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups.
• Assist with classroom activities and learning tasks.
• Support literacy, numeracy and wider curriculum activities.
• Help pupils with additional learning needs and SEND where required.
• Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and independence.
• Support pupils' social and emotional development.
• Prepare classroom resources and learning materials.
• Work closely with teachers, SEN staff and other support professionals.
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months' relevant UK experience working as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, SEN TA or in a similar role.
• Experience working with children or young people in an educational or relevant support setting.
• SEND experience is highly desirable.
• Patient, caring and resilient approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt to different pupils, classrooms and school environments.
• Reliable, professional and committed to supporting pupil progress.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
