What You'll Be Doing

As a Teaching Assistant, you may be supporting pupils across Primary, Secondary and SEND settings, including:

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support.
• Assisting teachers with classroom activities and learning.
• Supporting pupils with their academic, social and emotional development.
• Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence and independence.
• Supporting pupils with additional needs where required.
• Helping create a safe, inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
• Building positive relationships with pupils and school staff.

‍ Who We're Looking For

We'd love to hear from candidates who have:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Classroom Assistant or Learning Support Assistant.
• Experience working with children or young people.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A patient, caring and adaptable approach.
• A genuine passion for education and supporting young people.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a school team.

Relevant experience in youth work, support work, mentoring, childcare or volunteering with children and young people may also be considered.
