We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Barnsley.

Key Responsibilities

• Support teachers with classroom activities and lessons.
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils.
• Encourage positive behaviour and learning.
• Help pupils develop confidence and independence.
• Work closely with teachers and other school staff.

About You

• Experience working with children is desirable.
• Caring, patient and reliable.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Passionate about supporting children's learning and development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
