The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support teachers with the delivery of engaging classroom activities.
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students where required.
• Help pupils develop their academic, social and emotional skills.
• Support students with additional learning needs.
• Assist with classroom preparation and learning resources.
• Encourage positive behaviour and maintain a safe learning environment.
• Monitor and provide feedback on students' progress.
• Work closely with teachers, support staff and parents/carers.

• Has previous experience working with children or young people.
• Is passionate about supporting students' learning and development.
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Has a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

Relevant qualifications or experience in education, childcare or supporting pupils with additional needs would be advantageous, but full training and support may be available depending on the role.
