The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils in the classroom on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Encourage pupils' confidence, independence, and academic progress.
  • Support children with a range of learning needs, including SEND where required.
  • Help maintain a positive and safe learning environment.
  • Work closely with teaching staff to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience working with children in a school, nursery, or care setting is desirable.
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is advantageous but not essential.
  • A caring, patient, and proactive approach.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
