The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support students in lessons across a range of subject areas.
• Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning and improve outcomes.
• Assist students with additional learning needs to access the curriculum.
• Encourage positive behaviour and promote engagement in learning.
• Help create a safe, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with teaching staff, SEND teams and pastoral colleagues.
• Provide encouragement and guidance to help students achieve their potential.

• Has experience working with children or young people.
• Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Is patient, adaptable and proactive.
• Has a genuine passion for education and supporting student development.
• Can build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Works well independently and as part of a team.
