Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant primary school from September.

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support teaching and learning across EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
• Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions to raise pupil achievement.
• Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom organisation.
• Encourage positive behaviour and promote children's confidence and independence.
• Support pupils with varying learning needs to ensure they can access the curriculum.
• Help monitor pupil progress and celebrate achievements.
• Supervise pupils during breaktimes and school activities when required.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, families and colleagues to support children's development.

• Has experience supporting children in an educational or childcare setting.
• Is enthusiastic, caring and reliable.
• Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Can adapt to meet the needs of different learners.
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
