Teaching Assistant – Join Our Team in Sheffield

Protocol Education is looking for enthusiastic, caring, and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in welcoming primary and secondary schools across Sheffield. This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils in their learning, help them build confidence, and contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning.
• Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
• Assist with classroom preparation and learning resources.
• Encourage positive behaviour and support pupils' social and emotional development.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
• Promote student engagement, independence, and confidence in their learning.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working with children in a school, childcare, or similar setting is desirable.
• A positive, patient, and enthusiastic approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
