We’re working with a friendly primary school looking for a KS1 teaching assistant to join their friendly and welcoming team. They are looking for someone to become a valued member of their team, whilst making a positive impact on everyday learning.

What you’ll be doing

• Supporting children across KS1 with learning and development
• Assisting the class teacher to bring lessons to life
• Delivering small group sessions
• Confidence in managing behaviour
• Supporting children with additional needs

What we’re looking for

• Experience in a KS1 setting, school-based in a bonus
• Some experience with SEN/ behaviour management, or an interest in developing your skills
• A team player, willing to build relationships with pupils and staff
• A calm, patient and supporting approach to learning
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to get one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
