A well-organised secondary school in Newcastle is seeking a reliable and proactive Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately.
This is a classroom-based role within a school that has clear routines, established behaviour systems and strong pastoral oversight. Support staff are valued and play a key role in maintaining learning standards.

£90 – £110 per day (PAYE) | Full-Time | Immediate Start
You will:
Provide in-class support across KS3 and KS4
Work with pupils with SEND including ASD, ADHD and SEMH
Deliver small group interventions in literacy and numeracy
Support behaviour management in line with school policy
Help differentiate and adapt learning materials
Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress
Consistency and presence in the classroom are essential.
Clear expectations for behaviour and conduct
Strong SEND and safeguarding teams
Supportive SLT and department heads
Structured timetable and organised cover systems
Inclusive and respectful pupil culture
Staff are supported and expectations are communicated clearly.
Graduates considering PGCE or teacher training
Experienced TAs seeking a long-term placement
