Position Overview: As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced educators to support classroom activities, facilitate student learning, and provide individualized assistance to students as needed. Your role will be vital in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for all students.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional help.
  • Assist with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Help prepare instructional materials and resources.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma; college degree or coursework in education or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with students.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
