Teaching Assistant

Protocol Education are searching for Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teaching Assistants (TA) to work in the Leeds area (LS9) with one of our partnership schools. This would be a full-time role commencing from September 2022 and ideally the school would be looking for permanent staff, but will also consider applicants looking for temporary work. 

The school are looking for a positive, caring and enthusiastic person, ideally with previous experience of working with children. This post will suit candidates who are committed to supporting students to flourish and are looking to develop their knowledge and experiences.

Requirements:

  • Have a calm, caring and flexible approach
  • Have previous experience of working with children or be a graduate looking at getting into Primary Education
  • Can work well in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be able to use their initiative to adapt activities to meet the needs of the students
  • Be self-motivated

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
