Early Years TA in Islington
A school in Islington are searching for an Early Years Teaching Assistant to work within either their reception or nursery classes. This position is from September 2022 - July 2023, part-time. The school are looking for an educator with exceptional Early Years Curriculum knowledge who will make an instant impact. Relevant experience working within Early Years is essential.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Deliver phonic sessions
- Assess the individual learning needs of pupils
- Positively manage challenging behaviour
- Liaise with parents, carers and other professionals who work with the children
- Supervise activities
- Work with teachers to find bespoke and individualised child centred education to help engage the children
- Work with children in small groups and on a one to one basis

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
