Job description
Protocol Education are currently working with large SEN school in Brent who are looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join their school this September. The position will be based within the Key Stage 2 section of the school in a small class supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

You will be working with children aged between 7 - 11 with statements of Special Education Needs. Most of the children you will be working with have very limited communication skills and some are non-verbal. You will be assisting more than one class so supporting several children rather than 1:1 with any particular child.

To be eligible to apply for this position, you must have experience working with children with autism and challenging behaviour. You will be available to start in September and be able to work full school hours 5 days per week. You must have a good command of numeracy and literacy. Those with experience using PECS are urged to apply.

Salary: Up to £75.00 /day
