Job description
Due to high demand, Protocol Education are looking for Teachers to work in our specialist schools in the Bristol and South Gloucestershire area. There are both part and full-time opportunities available with the option of daily or long-term positions. This role is ideal for teachers who either have previous experience teaching children with SEND, and want to advance in their career, or are looking to gain more experience with SEND. Experience isn't essential to work with additional needs, you just need the right attitude and passion to work with SEND.

Class sizes are usually a maximum of 5-8 pupils and there will be a TA in the class. The schools support children with different needs such as ASD, MLD, PMLD and SEMH. Depending on your preference and the path you would like to go down, we can support you with this. It is usual school hours and presents a great opportunity to advance your career in education!

As well as specialist schools, we work with many mainstream Primary and Secondary Schools which are always in need of great teachers to come in and work with their children! We can accommodate for your preferences whether it is mainstream, specialist, full or part time, daily supply or long term.

Essential Criteria:
•QTS (or equivalent)
•Basic knowledge/awareness of SEND
•Good classroom management skills
•Patient and resilient
•A willingness to positively work with the school and respect their values
•Have a passion for education and strive to enhance children's development

Desirable Criteria:
•Car Driver
•Previous experience with SEND
•Training/qualifications in SEND
•Flexible timetable
