Job description
Year 5 Teacher required from Easter for two terms.

A lovely local primary based in Leicester are looking for a Key Stage 2 Year 5teacher to join the school after Easter, initially for two terms, but could be longer for the right candidate. The school is a two-form entry.

This forward-thinking school adopts a growth mind set outlook along with positive praise.

This school provides excellent CPD and supportive and welcoming SLT.


The school are looking for someone who:

Has worked within Key Stage 2 before with a proven track record of raising attaiment
Be part of the wider school and come along to weekly staff meeting.
Can demonstrate excellent teaching and a strong classroom practice
Can plan and teach creatively, making learning experiences fun and exciting
Is committed to giving children the best possible start in life
Is enthusiastic, caring and hard-working
Has high expectations of children's achievement and behaviour
Has a commitment to raising standards and making sure all children make good progress
Has high expectations of themselves and is reflective about their teaching
Is committed to teamwork and can show an ability to motivate and inspire others
