Job description
Teaching Position in Surrey

A great opportunity to work in a modern all through school based in the Surrey area. The school are looking for a teacher to work with KS3/KS4 students that have been dismissed from mainstream education. This is a perfect role for a teacher that is looking for a change from mainstream teaching and would relish the chance to work in a new environment.

The school is a pupil referral unit (PRU) that supports students in KS3 and KS4 with SEMH and challenging behaviours. Due to the nature of the environment the school require the candidate to be thick skinned and the ability to demonstrate a good level of classroom management.

This is a full time teaching position with a competitive salary; the school are looking to appoint a teacher to start the new academic year in September..

Main Duties:
• Teaching KS3 and KS4
• Assessing pupils levels and ability
• Differentiating work based on students needs and abilities
• Preparing, planning and marking work
• Good behaviour management of the class room
• Ensuring the schools ethos and policies are being implemented
• Liaising with parents and carers
